Use components with Collections
When a status page belongs to a Collection, its components are still managed from the status page itself.
The Components area for a Collection is organised by page. This lets you choose which status page you want to manage before adding, editing, reordering, moving, or deleting its components.
Manage components by page
To manage components from a Collection:
- Open the Collection you want to manage.
- Open the settings ⚙️ menu.
- Go to Components.
- Find the status page you want to manage.
- Select Manage Components →.
You will then see the components for that status page.
From here, you can manage components in the same way as you would on a single status page.
You can:
- Add components and sub-components
- Reorder components
- Move components
- Edit components
- Delete components
Add the first component to a page
If a status page does not have any components yet, select Add first Component.
This will let you create the first component for that status page.
How changes affect Collections
Any changes you make to components will affect how those components appear for that status page inside the Collection.
For example, if you add, rename, reorder, move, or delete a component, that change will also be reflected wherever that status page appears in the Collection.
