Moving components

You can move a component or sub-component to a different parent component.

Move a component

To move a component:

1. Open the status page you want to manage from Manage Status Pages.
2. Open the settings ⚙️ menu.
3. Go to Components.
4. Find the component you want to move.
5. Select Move.
6. Choose the new parent from the dropdown.
7. Select Move Component.

Your component will now appear under the parent component you selected.

Move a component to the top level

To move a component out from underneath another component, choose No parent (top level) from the parent dropdown.

The component will then appear as a top-level component on your status page.
