An early-access feature is now available to customers who want to ensure that data is accurate with subscribers. Double opt-in requires subscribers who wish to receive notifications via email and SMS to confirm their subscription.
Enabling double opt-in
Please get in touch with us from within the management UI and click on the Intercom button requesting double opt-in be enabled for your account.
Confirming your subscription
When you subscribe to email and SMS, you will be prompted to confirm that you would like to subscribe.
Create your subscription on the status page by clicking on Subscribe.
Enter the email address that you want to subscribe with and click on Start subscription.
Next, go to your email and check that you have received an email from firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject Please confirm your subscription.
Finally, click on Confirm email address to validate your subscription.
Good news! You are now subscribed and will receive notifications.
SMS follows the same process, except you will receive an SMS message with a link to confirm your subscription.
