To manage these settings, click on the cog icon, top left next to the page selector icon and then 'Logos & Colours'.

Setting Light or Dark Mode

Our status pages come with light or dark mode options to make viewing at various times of the day easier.

  1. Scroll down to the Dark Mode setting.

  2. Select 'Auto', which will detect the user's system preferences and automatically place your page either in light or dark mode.

  3. To save the changes, click on the 'Save Branding' button

Adding a logo and icons

  1. Your logo should have a transparent background with a minimum of 256px width and 96px height. We recommend uploading two: one for use in light mode and another for dark mode (so a white logo).
Note: you can upload with PNG or SVG.

  2. Next, add an icon. This will be used in the browser tab and social media when posts are shared on your page.
Note: you can upload with PNG or SVG.

  3. To save the changes, click on the 'Save Branding' button

Changing the header and hero background

You can now change the background colour on the header and the hero section (where it says "All systems are up!").

  1. Scroll down to Hero Background.

  2. Select a primary colour for when the page is in light mode.

  3. Select a secondary colour for when the page is in dark mode. We recommend going for a darker version of your primary colour.

  4. To save the changes, click on the 'Save Branding' button

Setting the primary brand colour

Changing this will make your links and buttons use the primary brand colour. We recommend setting different colours for light and dark modes.

  1. Scroll down to Primary Brand Colour.

  2. Select a primary colour for when the page is in light mode.

  3. Select a secondary colour for when the page is in dark mode.

  4. To save the changes, click on the 'Save Branding' button
