Microsoft Teams Retiring Webhook-based Connectors

Microsoft has announced the retirement of previously created webhook-based connectors within the O365 Connectors service in Microsoft Teams.

What’s Changing

By January 31, 2025, Microsoft will transition to a new URL structure for connectors. After this date, the old URL structure will stop working, and status updates will no longer be processed into MS Teams channels.

Status Page Subscribers who have created a webhook-based connector and configured their preferences to receive status updates in Microsoft Teams need to take the following steps:

• Create a new URL using the Microsoft Workflow app
• Replace the existing MS Teams URL with the newly created one.
