MailChimp was our first ever email integration, and since its creation, we've learned a lot more about delivering status notices.

With its primary focus on sending Marketing Campaigns and Newsletters, MailChimp was never an ideal fit, and the extra work in synchronising subscribers between our two platforms, and the lack of visibility on delivery to specific addresses makes providing customer support difficult.

So today we've removed MailChimp as an option, except for those already using it.

Of course, there are plenty of other options to choose from, Postmark, SendGrid and Mailgun all remain, so you can find one which best suits your needs.
