Configure Google Chat Page Settings
Your user account will require the configuration user role when enabling or removing Google Chat.
- Head to Page Settings
- Choose Publish to Google Chat
- Choose Enable Google Chat
Google chat will now be available for your status page subscribers
Removing Google Chat
- Head to Page Settings
- Choose Publish to Google Chat
- Choose Stop Publishing to Google Chat
Google Chat will now be removed from your status page.
Brand settings for Google Chat: Status colours and the icon are automatically used from the logo and colours section in page settings. Tip: Google Chat only supports PNG format for icons, so if you are using SVG this will not load in Google Chat.
