Managing who can view Metrics


In the past, metrics were displayed on a status page for everyone to check out. But guess what? We're super excited to be working on an awesome new feature that will give you complete control over who can see those metrics. How cool is that? Would you like instant flexibility and control over who can view component uptime and detailed incident reporting on the status page and via the status API? Audience Rules are here to help you!

When you enable Metrics, you can Add Audience Rules to segment who can view Metrics on the status page. Audience Rules help us figure out which subscribers can view Metrics on the Status Page.


Creating new Audience Rules

When setting up Audience Rules, you can add multiple conditions to define which subscribers will be applied to the rule.
Whether you're looking to match a single email address or go domain-wide for maximum flexibility, we've got you covered!

Applying the Audience Rule to Metrics

Assigning rules to metrics is really easy. Just go to the Metric settings, and you'll see the option to choose which single or multiple rules can be applied to the Metric.
